The IP Address Whitelist feature in NoSpy gives you full control over who can access your Shopify store — even when general protection or blocking rules are in place. This is especially useful if you want to ensure that trusted users, developers, or internal teams can always access the site without restriction.
It’s simple, secure, and helps you manage access while maintaining the integrity of your store’s data protection.
To complete the setup, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to your Shopify admin and click on the "Apps" option on the sidebar menu.
2. You will see a drop-down list in the upper section of the page.
3. Select and click the “NoSpy – protect data” app.
4. Once inside the app, you’ll see the NoSpy main sidebar menu.
5. On the sidebar menu, click on the “Redirects” option.
6. On the next page, you will see 2 tabs for "Redirects" and "Whitelist". Please click the "Whitelist" tab.
7. Click on the “Whitelist IP address” tab to start setting up your whitelist.
8. You will then see input fields where you can add specific IP addresses. In the “Select condition” section, choose whether to add a single IP address or multiple IP addresses (separate them using commas).
9. The next option allows you to whitelist an IP range. Enter the starting IP address and the ending IP address of the range you’d like to allow.
10. You’ll also find a field labeled “Whitelist name”. This is optional but recommended so you can organize and identify your whitelist rules easily.
11. In the IP address fields, enter the addresses or range of IPs that should always have access to your store, regardless of other protection rules.
12. On the right side of the page, you’ll see 2 helpful widgets:
Rule Status: Toggle this to Enable once you're ready, then click the “Save” button to activate the whitelist rule.
Rule Summary: This provides a brief overview of your current whitelist rule so you can confirm it’s set up correctly.
