The Whitelist by Specific Collections feature in NoSpy allows you to grant access to selected collection pages based on the visitor’s country — even if other restrictions or redirection rules are active. This means visitors from approved countries can view these collections without being restricted or redirected elsewhere, ensuring a smooth experience for your targeted audience.
This is particularly useful for country-specific product, exclusive collections, or seasonal campaigns that should only be visible to customers in select regions.
To set this up, follow the steps below:
1. Open your Shopify admin, and from the left-hand menu, click on “Apps.”
2. You will see a drop-down list in the upper section of the page.
3. Select and click the “NoSpy – protect data” app.
4. Once inside the app, you’ll see the NoSpy main sidebar menu.
5. On the sidebar menu, click on the “Redirects” option.
6. On the Redirects screen, you’ll see tabs for “Redirects” and “Whitelist.” Click on the “Whitelist” tab to continue.
7. From the available whitelist options, select “Specific Collections.”
8. On the next screen, you'll find the whitelist setup panel. To create your whitelist rule, simply fill out the following fields.
9. Start by giving your rule a name in the “Redirect name (optional)” field. This makes it easier to organize and identify your whitelist rules, especially if you're managing several.
10. In the “Select Collections” section, choose the specific collection pages where this rule should apply. You can whitelist any collection you want to allow targeted access to.
11. Then, use the “Select Country” dropdown to pick the country or countries whose visitors should be allowed to access the selected collections.
12. On the right-hand side, you’ll see two key sections:
Rule Status: Use this toggle to activate or deactivate the whitelist rule. Make sure it’s set to “Enable” before saving.
Rule Summary: This section provides a quick overview of the rule you’re about to apply, showing your selected collections, allowed countries, and redirect path.
Once everything looks good, click the “Save” button to activate your whitelist rule.
That’s it! Your selected collections are now accessible only to the countries you’ve approved — giving you precise control over who can see what, even when global restrictions or redirection settings are in place.
