How to use Visitor Analytics in NoSpy

Updated over a week ago

The Visitor Analytics feature in NoSpy gives you a complete overview of the traffic coming into your Shopify store.
With real-time insights and detailed tracking, you can see:

  • Who visited your store

  • Where they came from

  • How long they stayed

  • Whether they were allowed, redirected, or blocked

  • Potential risks such as VPN, proxy, spy tools, or bot activity

This page helps you confirm your NoSpy security settings are working and gives you a deeper understanding of your visitor behavior.

Follow the steps below to explore and use your Visitor Analytics dashboard:

1. Go to your Shopify admin dashboard

Open your Shopify store and click on the “Apps” option in the left sidebar.

2. Select the “NoSpy – Protect Data” app

From your installed apps list, click NoSpy to open the app’s main dashboard.

3. On the NoSpy sidebar menu, click “Visitor Analytics”

This will take you to your full visitor tracking dashboard.

4. Explore the Visitor Analytics tabs

The Visitor Analytics page includes three main tabs, each providing different insights based on the visitor’s behavior and how NoSpy handled them.

A. Allowed Visitors

These are visitors who successfully accessed your store without being blocked or redirected.

For each visitor, you will see the following details:

  • IP Address – The device location identifier

  • Country – Visitor’s country of origin

  • State / Province / City – Detailed geographic location

  • Total Access – How many times the visitor accessed your store

  • Average Duration – How long they typically stayed per visit

  • Last Seen On – The date and time they last visited

  • Internet Service Provider (ISP) – The network they used (ex: AT&T, China Telecom)

Use this tab to understand your legitimate traffic sources and customer behavior.

B. Redirected Visitors

These visitors were automatically redirected based on rules you set inside NoSpy.

For each redirected visitor, you will see:

  • IP Address

  • Country

  • State / Province / City

  • Total Access

  • Average Duration

  • Last Seen On

  • Internet Service Provider

  • Risk Score

  • VPN / Proxy – Whether the visitor is likely using a VPN or proxy

  • Spy / Bot – Indicates if NoSpy detected suspicious bot or spy-tool behavior

  • Redirect – Shows if the visitor has been redirect or not.

This tab helps you verify whether your redirect rules are properly filtering risk and routing unwanted visitors away from your store.

C. Blocked Visitors

These visitors were prevented from accessing your store due to NoSpy’s protection features.

For each blocked visitor, you will see:

  • IP Address

  • Country

  • State / Province / City

  • Total Access

  • Average Duration

  • Last Seen On

  • Internet Service Provider

  • Risk Score

  • VPN / Proxy

  • Spy / Bot

  • Redirect – Shows if the visitor has been redirect or not.

Use this tab to monitor security threats and identify patterns in unwanted traffic.

5. Use the Visitor Analytics insights to strengthen your store’s security

With the data from these three tabs, you can:

  • Confirm that NoSpy protections (redirects, block rules, bot detection) are working

  • Identify harmful IPs or locations consistently causing suspicious activity

  • Detect VPN, proxy, or bot-based traffic

  • Analyze legitimate customer traffic versus suspicious visitors

  • Adjust your NoSpy settings for higher accuracy and protection
