The Orders Merged page provides a detailed audit trail of every consolidation that occurs in your store. While the dashboard offers a high-level overview of savings, this page allows you to drill down into individual transactions to verify statuses, customer details, and merge types. It’s your go-to source for transparency and record-keeping in your merging process.
To navigate and manage your merge history, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to your Shopify admin and click on the "Apps" option on the sidebar menu.
2. Select and click the “Order Merging” app.
3. On the sidebar menu, click on the “Orders Merged” option.
4. Once on the Order Merges list view, you can filter your history using the status tabs:
All: View every merge attempt.
Completed: View successfully merged orders.
Pending: Track orders currently in the merging process.
Failed: Identify any orders that could not be merged due to errors.
5. The list provides specific details for each entry:
Order Number: The new consolidated or primary order ID (e.g., #M1001).
Customer: The name of the customer associated with the orders.
Orders: The number of original orders combined into this single entry.
Total: The combined financial value of the merged items.
Merge Type: Indicates if the merge was performed Manually or through Automatic rules.
Created at: When the orders have been merged
6. Use the Search icon or Sort tool at the top right of the list to find specific customers or order numbers quickly.
7. Click the "View" button under the Action column to see the full breakdown of items and original order IDs within a specific merge.
8. If you need to export this data for your accounting or shipping records, click the "Export" button.
9. If you realize a merge is needed immediately while on this page, you can click the "Create Merge" button to start a manual process.
