Yes, you can suppress the order cancellation email that Shopify sends by default when an order is cancelled during a merge.

Before initiating a merge:

  1. Open the OrderMerge app

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Toggle off "Send cancellation email to customer"

  4. Save

This setting applies to all future merges. Your customer will not receive a cancellation notification — they will only see the new merged order.
