Why are my orders ineligible for upsells?

You might have seen orders marked "Ineligible" in your Offer history. These are orders where Vanga AI cannot display post-purchase upsells.

Here are all the known reasons we have currently put together for you to see and take action. This list will be updated every time we find a new reason.

  • Payment method is not supported - Vanga Ai is built for the Native Shopify Checkout. This means we have to work with the post-purchase page payment limitations. See all unsupported payment methods in the Native Shopify Checkout in πŸ‘‰πŸ» this article.

  • Vanga AI is not enabled in your Shopify store - Vanga AI will not show upsells if it's not selected as the primary post-purchase upsell app in your store. Enable it from Settings > Checkout > Post-Purchase Page > Select Vanga AI - Upsell assistant > Save.

  • Sales channel not supported - This is in case the order was placed on your Shopify store from a different platform. This means that if the order is not placed on the Native Shopify Checkout, the post-purchase page can't be displayed.

  • Commission limit reached - You have reached the commission limit you set in your Billing tab in Vanga AI. Increase the commission limit to keep your upsells from getting paused.

  • Select a plan to continue upselling - You have exhausted your free upsell credits and you need to select a plan to activate your upsells again.

  • When a multi-currency application is used on the store - the post-purchase upsell offers won't be displayed on orders with multiple currencies. This again is a limitation that Shopify mentions in πŸ‘‰πŸ» their article.

  • PayPal Automatic Payments are disabled - the order was paid via PayPal, but no upsell was shown. Shopify automatically submits you for PayPal Reference Transactions approval once you install a post-purchase app on your store. Usually, this validation takes a few days to be done. Check if your PayPal Automatic Payments are Approved in Shopify from your store > Payments > PayPal > Automatic Payments > they should have a status Approved.   • Your main upsell product was deleted from your Shopify store - If you've created a manual upsell with a product that is removed from your store, the upsell won't be displayed to customers.

  • Your main upsell product’s status is set to "Draft" - Vanga AI will work only if the products are published in your Shopify store.

  • Your main upsell product is out of stock - Vanga AI will not display upsells for products that are out of stock.
